This patch release includes fixes to application level bugs.
Upgrade to version 7.0.2 is supported from versions 7.0.X and 6.26.X only. In case you're running an older version, please upgrade to version 6.26.1 first, and then to version 7.0.2.The X-Road 7 migration guide is available here.
Restoring a Security Server backup fails in versions 7.0.0 and 7.0.1 if the backup file is generated by a Security Server that was originally installed before version 6.24.0. Instead, backup and restore work normally on Security Servers that were originally installed using version 6.24.0 or later. Backup and restore mechanism changed in version 7.0.0 which broke the backward compatibility with older installations.
Message logging becomes disabled when upgrading to version 7.0.0 or 7.0.1 on RHEL, Ubuntu is not affected. The upgrade fails to create a symlink to the "/usr/share/xroad/jlib/addon/proxy/messagelog.conf" file which causes the message log process to not start. Because message logging is disabled, timestamping status reports a failure in the diagnostics view.
Changes and overrides to the message log archiver parameters defined in the "/etc/xroad/services/local.properties" configuration file are ignored. The message log archiver parameters can be defined using the "XROAD_MESSAGELOG_ARCHIVER_PARAMS" variable. In versions 7.0.0 and 7.0.1 the values defined using the variable are ignored.
Issue types: fix (bug fix or technical debt), improvement (improvement to an existing feature), new (a new feature).
