Issue ID | Type | Summary |
---|---|---|
XRDDEV-730 | Improvement | Add automatic trimming and validation of the input data when Security Server address is updated on the Central Server UI. Only syntactically correct addresses are approved. Add validation of the Security Server address when authentication certificate registration request is processed on the Central Server. An error message is returned if the Security Server address does not pass the validation. Only syntactically correct addresses are approved. |
XRDDEV-732 | Improvement | Add automatic validation of the Security Server address when authentication certificate registration request is sent. Only syntactically correct addresses are approved. Fix a problem causing service provider host selection to fail if one of the host addresses is syntactically invalid. Before the version 6.22.1 service provider host selection failed on the consumer side Security Server if one the provider side Security Server host addresses was syntactically invalid. The selection failed even if there was a valid provider side Security Server host address in addition to the invalid one. This caused all the request to that provider side Security Server to fail. Starting from version 6.22.1 syntactically invalid addresses are ignored, and a valid address is used if available. |
XRDDEV-734 | Fix | Fix a problem causing Security Server operational monitoring "getSecurityServerOperationalData" service to return only "monitoringDataTs" timestamp, but no actual monitoring data. |
XRDDEV-741 | Fix | Fix a problem causing Central Server and Security Server audit log not being generated. Too strict file permissions prevented audit log generation. N.B. On clean RHEL7 install rsyslogd must be restarted once the Security Server installation has completed. |
Issue types: fix (bug fix or technical debt), improvement (improvement to an existing feature), new (a new feature).
