X-Road 8 status update

• Continue migrating modules from Spring Boot to Quarkus.

• Make the X-Road 7 code base more compatible with Quarkus so that transition and syncing changes from X-Road 7 to X-Road 8 is easier.

• Move X-Road 8 development from the edc-poc branch to the develop-8.x branch.

  • The edc-poc branch was used to experiment a lot of things in 2024.

  • The edc-poc branch had drifted from the develop branch and therefore, keeping it in sync with the develop branch became challenging.

  • A new develop-8.x branch was created from develop and all the relevant X-Road 8 features are being backmerged to it from the edc-poc branch.

• Upgrade the EDC version from 0.9.0 to 0.11.0.
