NB! This is a beta release for X-Road 8. The release is meant for testing only and should not be installed or used in a production environment. This beta version supports upgrades from X-Road version 7.8.x only. Upgrades from other X-Road versions are not supported. In addition, the release is not guaranteed to be stable.

Summary of changes included in this beta

This beta focuses mainly on installation and upgrade flows as well as technical improvements.

New installation script for a more streamlined experience
New upgrade script to assist upgrading from X-Road 7.8.x versions
System parameters editable via the Security Server web interface
Updated initialisation flow, including admin account creation for containerised setups
Kubernetes readiness and liveness checks
Requires JAVA25
